As visual artists, we're most fortunate to live and practice our "art" in the beautiful southern Arizona town of Tubac, the oldest "European" community in the state. A limited but very diverse population, largely composed of those who have escaped the bustle of city life, still appreciate the amenities of nearby Tucson, Green valley and Nogales. At 3500 ft. altitude and surrounded by mountains, we benefit from a moderate high desert climate. Many have migrated to Tubac primarily due to our thriving art community which features the acclaimed Tubac Center of the Arts which serves our community with a myriad of art related services and events. However, we recognize the need for even more specific promotion of our artisans and "art colony". This enhanced promotion is the purpose for which our group was formed.
